Raging Spirits

This was kind of a weird ride to be in a Disney amusement park. It’s basically a really small roller coaster that you would find in a basic carnival with a nicer set. You wait in line for what seems forever (unless you have a fastpass) and you enjoy the really short coaster.
It doesn’t go very high, but it does do one upside down loop where you don’t see much due the smoke they throw into your face. Kind of a waste of time, but we really did want to try as much as possible here. Still, if you’re on a time constraint, this one is an easy pass.

I wasn’t crazy about this coaster. While it does have some nice fire and smoke effects around it I felt that it was too «ordinary» and stuck out like a sore thumb at such an elaborately themed park such as DisneySea. It was a little too rough for my tastes also. I would ride it if there wasn’t a wait, but I would never stand in a long line to ride it again. Speaking of lines, you might encounter something interesting if you are tall. One of my friends that I was with is a big guy, but nowhere near huge. I’ve ridden lots of theme park rides with him. That’s why we were so bewildered when an employee came up to us and tried to pull us out of line. He didn’t speak English and none of us spoke Japanese. It was quite confusing and awkward. He eventually took us to an area where no one could see us and it became apparent what was going on. He wanted my friend to sit in a mockup of the ride’s seating to see if he fit. He did without a problem and we were then ushered to the front of the line. All of the sudden that inconvenience was really worth it! Be aware that you have to store your bags in a locker before you ride this.
