A small, dull (ish) museum on EuraAsian cultures, with an historical bent. It’s located inside a late 1929 building that’s been preserved reasonably well given the city’s penchant for destroying or irreparably altering its modern architectural heritage.
The displays cover cultures across Eurasia. There are maps and explanations of exhibits and such, but I don’t recall how much is in any language other than Japanese. (I think there’s some English, but it’s been a while since I’ve been there.) Unless you have a specific thing you want to see, such as the rotating exhibit, I don’t recommend you place this very high on your list of things to see and do in Yokohama. … But at least it’s cheap at 200 yen.
