I stopped by Little Caesars yesterday while in Airdrie because I drive past once per week and I’ve been anxious to experience this new pizza drive-thru situation. You can’t get a fresh pizza as quickly as a coffee, so you know you’ll be waiting. Why the drive-thru then? Personally, I think it’s a waste of gas and next time I’ll just go inside. Does anyone really need to be that lazy? I pulled up and ordered a BBQ Chicken pizza. It’s one pizza size fits all and it’s medium. After paying what I’d consider a reasonable price($ 8.93 taxes in), I then had to pull around the back of the building and wait by the door for someone to carry out my pizza. They have a security camera monitoring the area and it felt weird to wait there in amongst work trucks and equipment. It was about 7 minutes, which I still thought was pretty good for fast food pizza, but I’d rather wait in a nice warm building than sit in my car and get cold during the winter months. I’m not going to run my vehicle. Also, I wouldn’t want to be the person running in and out with pizza boxes during bad weather either. They should have put in another window somehow. I dug into my pizza immediately because I was nearly late for a meeting and needed to eat. Don’t make the same mistake! The pizza was so hot(not that I’m complaining) that I totally fried the roof of my mouth. I’ve never had pizza that piping hot in my life! Just follow my advice and wait a few minutes or you’ll have a bloody mess in your mouth like I do this morning. The pizza crust is thin and it wasn’t overwhelmingly salty, which I was happy about. However, the chicken pieces were pretty small and I wasn’t sure I could taste BBQ sauce. It was just okay. I’d give Little Caesars another chance though, as I’ve never had their pizza before. All in all, I think the pizza is average and I’d skip the drive-thru. 17⁄30 for Unilocal’s 30 Day Challenge

$ 5 Amazing pizza and a Drive Through! The only thing better is if you get the order of breadsticks to go with it.
