Amazing and cheap food and the people are very nice I love it here. They even try to remember my orders from last one plus it’s a nice atmosphere with nice background music while you eat and talk

Nothing fancy, it’s good sushi. Great prices and happy staff. Convenient location, I’ve never been disappointed eating here. Just don’t expect too much and you will be rewarded with a nice meal.

A decent sushi establishment in the middle of no where. The only reason I came here when I was on my vacation was because I was craving for sushi, HEAVILY. The restaurant wasn’t that bad compared to the Vancouver places. It is Korean owned, and very similar to most corner sushi joints in Vancouver. This place seems to be busy with people from the local area and many people come in and our of the place. Me and my friends had very different sushi dishes. We each ordered a special roll and just shared with each other. I ordered the Sakura Blossom, my friend ordered the Philadelphia, and my other friend ordered the Alien roll. Each of them was different and very special. I am not surprised the the Sakura Blossom and the Philadelphia taste like similar rolls of a very popular place in Vancouver *COUGHSUSHIGARDENCOUGH*. The alien roll was the most weird roll of them all, as the chef placed a deep fried prawn head on top of the roll to depict it as an alien… The skin that was placed on the alien roll was charred and the taste of it was disgusting. They burnt it too much so it left a really weird taste in the mouth. The Sakura blossom was delicious, but the cream cheese was really not needed, just place a piece of cut fish it would have been tastier. The Philadelphia, typical cream cheese with the same fillings of a california roll, and topped off with different cuts of raw fish on the top. I can say this place is mediocre, but it is not 100% authentic Japanese. But it is the closest you can get when you want a sushi craving… :P

I have no clue about the difference between good sushi and crappy sushi… I don’t eat some of the more exotic concoctions at sushi joints. However, I did stop by our local little place and grabbed a couple of $ 9 dinner mixed chicken with noodles bento boxes this week. My cousin — who knows his Japanese food said it was exceptional, and I really enjoyed mine too. The place is clean and tiny and friendly, and I watched the chef cook my meal. Serious looking guy that made it feel more like a church service than a fast meal. Loved it. I was offered a small tea while I waited at the counter, and the service was efficient and warm. Love that too. If you like sushi, it is under 10 minutes from Hwy 1 at the 264th exit. Handy to grab on your way to parts East this Summer.
