We Cafe and Grill

It wasn’t a surprise to find out there was another new restaurant in Aldergrove. What was a pleasant surprise was the quality of the food. We went not expecting to much. The food was awesome and the owners made you feel welcome. We’ve been there a couple of times and it’s all good. Keep it up!

Went in for breakfast on a Friday morning. There was only a couple other tables taken so they were not busy.
Food was just ok. We both ordered the breakfast special — 2 eggs, sausage or bacon or ham, toast & fried potatoes for under $ 6. Seemed like a great deal. One of our meals came out a FULL 5 minutes before the other one. Fried potatoes were barely brown at all and not seasoned. Seems like they could’ve left the potatoes on the grill to brown more while waiting for our other meal to cook. When my meal finally came out the toast wasn’t ready & I was told it was going to be a couple MORE minutes! Poached eggs were served in the cups with about a tablespoon of water. Scrambled and poached eggs were cooked nicely. Even though I waited so long for my meal, my potatoes weren’t any more browned than the my friend’s. She ordered bacon (not too crispy) and it came out perfect. I ordered ham but it wasn’t fried or anything, it seemed like it was steamed. Not appealing.
The décor was nice & the restaurant was clean.
I’ve heard really great things about this place so I’ll give it another chance but the first impression was just meh. There are at least two other places in town with great breakfast deals and the food is always awesome so I’d probably go to one of them first.

This is a great café to come to. Very kind customer service and fast ! The prices are fair for what your getting as well as the portions. The food tastes great and the smoothies/​bubble tea are good too. My favorite is the beef mixed veggies special combo. The menus pretty diverse, there’s something for everybody if you come here with a group of friends because they have items like burgers, sandwiches, steak, chicken, salmon, as well as vegetarian options. I recommend this café to anybody.

A friend and I decided to share spring rolls. They had a weird filling but they were perfectly wrapped and crispy. A minuscule amount of plum sauce. Veggie Chinese dumpling. Again not a typical filling. Both tasted of 5 spice. Just cabbage and an undefinable vegetable. Veggie tempura was good. They do need a new dipping sauce. Ugh! A chicken noodle dish that looked promising for flavour but did not deliver. Just greasy dark noodles with about 5 tiny tiny pieces of dry chicken and a few slivers of carrots. We splurged on deep fried banana with chocolate sauce and ice cream. My friend enjoyed this. To be fair she enjoyed everything except the noodle dish. The owner is friendly and cheerful. The only other guest in the restaurant was eating a pork cutlet and he said he had ordered this 3 times already because enjoyed it so much. The portions are large. The place looks and smells clean. I might try this place again only because another friend had enjoyed her visit and she is vegan… so hard to get enough items at restaurants. I did like that they had many vegetarian options. Service quick and cheerful. Prices good for the amount you receive
