Simi’s Delight

Funnel Cake is my weakness! And today I am having that as breakfast!
Simi’s Delight might not serve the best tasting funnel cake according to moi (Canada Wonderland still rocks!) but what they have here is good enough for everyday if I have cravings (Not like Wonderland is opens everyday?!).
Deep fried when ordered. Crunchy on the outside and still soft inside. Some parts a little doughy but good enough!
Choice of Strawberries, Blueberries, Apples, Ice cream.
Apples with Cinnamon Icing Sugar and Vanilla Ice Cream ($ 8.99)
— apples still have good texture. I hate when the fruit topping turned all mushy
— Vanilla Ice Cream can be richer… can be creamier…
Thanks for my Unilocal friend for sharing! I think I will be in a sugary coma if I try finishing that myself. I probably will just order the funnel fingers which are like churros next time if I am alone.
Simi’s Delight has other sweet offerings too. Cupcakes, elephant ears, cakes, waffles all prepared in house by the lovely owner/​baker!

I had to slap the thought of pedestrian Strawberries out of my Friend’s sleepy head.
Absolutely perfect Dessert for this cool windy Fall Season.
Deep Fried crisp Funnel Cake with some partial doughiness in hidden pockets.
Ice Cream while not Rich & Creamy as others, was more Sorbet like. Refresh i n g.
Apples & Cinnamon. I felt like I was stealing Apple Pie from Granny’s Windowsill.
