I had dinner at this establishment recently. The atmosphere is dark and very garage-like however I feel that’s the vibe they were going for. I was looking forward to eating here as I thought it would stand out from the rest of the bars and pubs along Dunlop however the atmosphere and overall experience was banal. The service and food was decent The cheese pretzel dip was tasty yet too strong to eat the whole thing by myself. The fish and chips were overly greasy and it tasted like there was a 10 – 1 batter to fish ratio. The fries were very good but the portion was small. Would I return? Perhaps if dinner plans get cancelled somewhere else and I’m within walking proximity, sure.

Fairly ‘meh’ in my opinion, though perhaps worth a try. My wife, a friend and I went there early afternoon yesterday for breakfast/lunch. I had the pastrami sandwich. PROS: Good service, spacious building, and comfortable seating; food was tasty but nothing outstanding. CONS: Pricey considering the portion size – I guess somebody’s got to pay for the gigantic television screen at the front of the bar. Oh, and the food gave me the shits.

Salad is not fresh at all. Avocado is black and smelly, but service is good with the full reimbursement.
