Sushi Kamikaze

Another foodie friend tipped me off to this place and I was very skeptical. How can a non descript joint in the back of Place Portobello of all places be worthy of so much praise? When I tried for myself I saw what I’ve been missing. The sushi was fantastic and very fresh. Their secret? Good sushi is all about the rice and these people have their rice seasoned to perfection. Prices are very reasonable here too (Great value for your money!)

Situé a l’intérieur d’un centre commercial qui né paie pas de mine mais croyez-​moi, les sushis de ce petit restaurant sont EXCELLENTS! De plus, le service y est impeccable. Sans hésitation, un resto a essayer.

Pour les meilleurs sushi préparés au comptoir et devant vous, dans une ambiance tout simplement amicale et familiale, sans chichi, pour le meilleur rapport qualité/​prix (vraiment ! le meilleur, j’en ai essayé beaucoup), c’est l’endroit où se trouver.
Je connais personnellement la famille car je suis un client régulier depuis les débuts, à l’ouverture du commerce. J’ai testé plusieurs restos sushi. Aucun né se compare à celui-​ci. Ils ont même tout rénové pour encore mieux servir leur clientèle. L’équipe dynamique et accueillante vous fera sentir comme chez vous. Ils peuvent vous guider pour vos choix, ils ont un menu pour les végétariens et même pour les aventuriers. Les produits sont frais et toujours préparés sur demande. Vous pouvez choisir un «take-​out» ou manger sur place. Vous pouvez même réserver :-) N’oubliez pas votre vin ou votre saké.

For the best sushi created at the counter and before your eyes, in a simple, friendly and family oriented ambiance, no fuss, for the best quality/​price ratio (really ! the best, I’ve seen a lot of others), that is the place to be.
I personally know the manager’s family since the early starts, since the opening. I’ve tested many sushi places. No other is equal to that one. They even made renovations to serve, even better, their clients. The dynamic team will make you feel at home. They can guide you through your choices if you don’t really know sushis. They are vegetarian friendly with a exotic twist for the adventurer. All produces are fresh and daily prepared on request. You can dine-​in or take-​out with or whitout reservation :-) Don’t forget your wine or sake.
