Bentobox

This is probably the best Korean-​Japanese take out place in Burlington. It is family owned, and they are always cheerful and very friendly. There is nothing really special about their food, but the price is right. Bulgogi and Bento are some of the greatest deals in town.

I think the Korean food here are much better than the Japanese food. We tried the dinner special set which included the California rolls and tempura foods, and a pork bone with potato soup. The pork bone and potato soup was very good, however, the dinner special set was normal. The waiters and the waitresses are very friendly.

This is a great sushi restaurant run by a friendly and passionate family. I typically go to AYCE sushi restaurants however for nights where I can’t find anyone to go with and decide to do take out, this is my spot. Prices are reasonable and the quality is superb.

Surprisingly good sushi in Burlington! Think I have gone to one-​too-​many budget priced sushi places in Toronto on Spadina. My expectations coming to Bentobox were low-​I expected reasonably priced sushi of reasonable quality. I was nicely surprised that the sushi is above average quality! It was so tasty my friend and I both complimented the chef. He came over to let us know there was already sauce/​flavour on the sushi and we did not need to douse it in soy sauce (this brought back memories of watching Jiro Dreams of Sushi and how good sushi does not require soy sauce…)
Ok ok it wasn’t up to Jiro’s standards, but this was still really good sushi. I just about devoured their dragon roll. I don’t know how to explain why it tasted so good, it was just the right combination of flavours and textures.
I also really enjoyed sushi at August 8 in Burlington. But Bentobox is even better! They are also very reasonably priced with bento box lunch and dinner specials (try the maki dinner combo, you won’t be disappointed)

Bentobox — you have become my new ‘go to’ Sushi restaurant in Burlington. I used to eat here years ago, and gave it another go recently. Delicious… why did I ever stop? They actually care about quality, and, it’s not a ‘wam bam thank-​you maam’ kind of feeling you get at an AYCE place. Very reasonably priced too, and the owners are really nice. I think it’s family owned. See you again soon Bento :)

Completely unremarkable takeout sushi. Self-​serve tables that are not terribly comfortable. Quality of food: adequate.

I go here Once every month and it is very consistent, always good, and tasty. Service is great, made to order, and they don’t mind making changes and special requests
