Finally got around to trying this place because I was too lazy to drive to Mississauga. I wish I had driven to Mississauga. We were seated promptly during the height of dinnertime which was nice. The sashimi was cold and fresh. The food came very quickly but the dishes were large and awkward and they took forever to clear them away. The beef had been microwaved and was cold and rubbery when we got it. Almost every piece of sushi fell apart way too easily. Curry squid was dry and salty. Sushi pizza had too much sauce. On par with August 8. I won’t be back.

We were in Canada & wanted sushi. Hotel recommended this place. Ended up walking out before ordering, They seat you & hand you an iPad with a sticky rubber cover & you are supposed to pick your sushi from the pictures. No prices, no descriptions of what is in the sushi. 1 IPad for our table. No regular menus. I don’t want to hold someone’s dirty iPad in my hands when ordering. Thanks anyway

I just picked up my sushi takeout. I ordered yam maki, green dragon rolls, chicken tempura rolls and California rolls. Nowhere on the website does it say fish roe/eggs in the green dragon roll. It says tempura shrimp– I hate fish eggs– these are FULL of fish eggs! Disgusting! Not to mention the rolls absolutely fall apart the second you pick them up. I ended up needing a knife and fork. What a joke. I will never order from here again

Just another average all you can eat sushi. Don’t expect anything special. Blah sushis Dimsum was kind of ok. Service was better than I expected. They are under some renovations.

Last minute Mothers Day decision. Place was crowded but quick. Waitress was great. Very friendly and attentive. Menu had many choices. Food was hot and fresh and plentiful. $ 15 for lunch. Ice cold Sapporro on tap. Good times had by all. Right next door to closed Target store. So get there before they open something else up and the place is too crowded.

I came here for dinner last week. I had a few rolls and jasmine tea with a friend of mine. Loved the food and the price was just right. I think I paid $ 15 for dinner. The rolls were delicious. It was not the best sushi I have had and kind of standard, but for the price you can’t complain.

Great value on the Bento boxes. Very tasty and varied assortment at a reasonable price. The AYCE is probably good but the Bento box is like $ 6 less and is more than enough food. The Teriyaki shrimp and vegetables were excellent Staff is friendly.

Great dishes with beef. Especially tepinyaki sirloin with mushrooms and garlic. A+++ SPC accepted here and great dinner menus. Adults are $ 22.99 during dinner on the weekdays and +2.99 on Fridays and weekends. Tends to get busy even during weeknights. Come around 6:30 — 7:00

Dropped in here on a toss-up between sushi and Shoeless Joe’s. We should’ve went to Shoeless Joe’s. Rolls were small and unimpressive in terms of flavour and quality, going from bland to overkill. Nothing stood out as being just plain good. I think one of the rolls, the Angry Dragon?, even came with some sort of extremely floral, overly sweet mango sauce. Who is this supposed to appeal to? Unless you want a mouthful of flowers, avoid at all costs. Pricing was on bar with other AYCE sushi places, around 20 bucks for dinner. That being said, this place was definitely not worth it. It was worth noting though that service was decent and all our unimpressive food came pretty quick.

Not just for the sushi lover, Sushi Asano is in this writers opinion, the best Asian food in Bulrington. When first trying this eatery, I was blown away by what you get for your money. Their all you can eat, dim sum style meal is a rare find in this area. It is difficult to review a place like Sushi Asano, due to it’s expansive menu. The best that can be said is that the quality is good. For around 25 dollars, per person on the weekend you can walk away feeling more than satisfied. The service is okay. Sometimes it can go from five serves asking you if you would like more food to no one going near you. Though one thing we have discovered, is that through the services, they will deliver to you. This is where it get awesome. For 15 dollars per person, you can order the bento box meal. With that you get one soup, salad, one order of shrimp and vegetable tempura, nine sushi rolls and one order that includes your choice of chicken, salmon, steak or spare ribs. What a great amount of food for a great price. Only recommendation, don’t order the salmon. Because they are delivering it it continues to cook within the container. For other protein that is okay. For salmon however it dries it out, making it pretty inedible. Give it a try for yourself!

Went extremely down hill after new management took over. Frozen sashimi and tasted off on several occasions now. Used to go weekly, will not be going back.

Good salmon. A lot more Chinese/Korean hot dishes on the AYCE menu than your more basic sushi place. Kids 3 and under eat free. Friendly staff. Dim sum on weekends. Nothing screams«greatest place ever!» But a more than serviceable AYCE place in the burbs. Loads of seating and some private areas for small birthday parties. Nice bathrooms.

This place is pretty disorganized. For all-you-can-eat, you’re usually supposed to order from the sheet they give you so your food comes in waves. At Asano Sushi, if a waiter was passing by they would also take your order if you wanted something else. Convenient for us, but it ended up badly when food brought to our table was assumed to be ours because another person ordered it. Twice, we had the wrong roll brought to our table. The first time, we didn’t know better and just ate it but the second time, we were ready. When we ordered, my cousin took a picture of the sheet so we knew exactly what we ordered. So when a random roll came around, we asked the waitress to take it back. She brought back the sheet, didn’t even show it to us, said she’s SURE we ordered it and slammed it back down on the table. Seriously? Even if we made a mistake, you don’t have to treat your customers like we’re imbeciles. She was super rude. We ended up speaking to the manager and that’s really the only reason this place gets ANOTHERSTAR. He was really gracious and took back the roll since none of us touched it so thank you to him. This place needs to step up their game or else they’ll lose all their customers.

After this place opened it was our go-to place. It seems to have deteriorated though. We had an experience a couple years ago. We were there between Christmas and New Years and they were horribly under staffed. We were there for 3 hours. We went with a party of about 7. There were stretches of 30 – 45 minutes(not exaggerating) where we didn’t get any food. Then when they did bring something, we’d get a single order of rolls that would be devoured instantly. That experience made me swear off the place for a good long time. We were back more recently, and I just find there are simply better places in the city to get sushi. There was one piece of sushi that had very clearly been frozen as it was still not fully thawed in the middle.

We’ve eaten here a number of times. The décor is nice, the front staff is warm. We normally stick with the all you can eat sushi it’s only a little pricier than ordering off of the menu. The food is ok. Not wonderful, just ok. Their standard salmon and tuna rolls are missing an element of flavour. I’m not a sushi expert so I cannot nail it down. I do like their rainbow rolls and hand packed rolls. The mango ice cream is also a welcome change.
