I went to the black swan for the .50 cent wing night, and had a rather disappointing meal. The restaurant was not completely full. My boyfriend and I ordered 20 wings, and a plate of sweet potato fries. He ordered a bottle of beer, and was brought a pint. The waitress never once came over to refresh our drinks, and since we waited approximately 40 minutes for our food, my glass was empty by the time it arrived. We watched tables who had sat after us be served before us. One of our baskets of wings was cold. I had asked her to refill my glass when she brought our food, and she didn’t. We never got our dipping sauces/​vegetables. The restaurant’s atmosphere was nice, and the food (although cold.) was good– but the service left a bad taste in my mouth.

Great spot to stop in any Saturday PM for a cold one, a snack and some live music. Yes, LIVE Music. Best blues. You’ll never be disappointed.

This place has become a favourite of mine whenever I go into Burlington on business. Good food, atmosphere and friendly staff. Clean and inviting. It’s located at the very edge of town, in a somewhat quiet area. I hope more people discover it and help them stay open for a long time!
