Moser’s Patio and Grill

I had the Vienna Schnitzel, which was bigger than my face and delicious. My friend had the Cajun Schnitzel which was very good as well. They have decent beer on tap, and good, attentive service.
The Patio out back looks huge; it would fit a few dozen people in the summer time. The décor was simple and clean, with good lighting and furniture.
This is my new go-​to place when hiking in the South end of Halton Region. I’m glad I didn’t drive all the way to Burlington for some chain restaurant. What a find after hiking at Mount Nemo; almost drove right passed it if it wasn’t for the bright sign on the West side of Guelph Line.

Now I would assume when running a little joint in the middle of nowhere, it should be the first priority to treat the only customers in the restaruant with good service. Instead we overhead cussing and poor language from the not so lovely waitresses. At least the one serving us was nice, when she had to be.
We happened to come upon this place by total surprise walking down the street from Mount Nemo at about 5:30 pm. We ordered RIblets and fries. The riblets were the most discgusting looking thing I’ve ever seen, and there were only 5 of them the size of chicken nuggets. I didn’t even think to snap a picture because why would you want this in your memory? They didn’t even come with a side! With hardly any meat and all bone, they were not worth 5 dollars, yet alone the 10 bucks spent. The fries were decent for frozen fries. Nothing to write home about. They came with their specialty «bear sauce» which upon asking was a mixture of thousand island dressing and ranch dressing… it wasn’t exactly well suited for fries, nor do I see the relevance it has to do with a bear.
We were the only customers there and there were way too many staff for lack of customers, this is in a terrible location, and I was unimpressed.
A highlight? They had Shock Top Belgian White beer on tap, which I’ve never seen before on tap in a place like this. I was a little impressed, because it was so good. But of course, the best part of the meal, is the one thing the restraunt didn’t make.
I was unimpressed, and recommend not wasting your money here.
Look forward to seeing other reviews because maybe it was just my experience that wasn’t good.
