Dairy Queen/Orange Julius

Expensive as hell, and this is the only establishment I know of that actually charges you extra to use their debit machine.
Never again.

I only come here with the guy I am dating for an Oreo Blizzard, that is the only reason to come here. The juices are below average and the hot dog… they make me sick. Blizzard okay, everything else skip. Staff here seem dumb as door knobs. 3 stars is for the Blizzard.

I ordered a mint oreo blizzard and got an oreo blizzard. I didn’t realize until I had taken a few bites but went back moments later and instead of making a new blizzard, which I believe would be the policy (or definitely should be), the guy making the blizzards simply put the mint syrup stuff in and re-​blended it. I had already eaten from my blizzard. My spoon had been in my mouth and back in my container. And the employee then put the blending nozzle/​piece into my ice cream container. This is extremely unhygienic and seems like it would go against health codes for food handling. I will add that, out of the 4 people in front of me, two blizzard orders were not made correctly so it was clearly a joint effort of stupid going on. The bottom line is that a new blizzard should have been made and either mine thrown away or just given to me free of charge as most businesses do when their employees are at fault. I will never go to this Dairy Queen/​Orange Julius location again. I can’t imagine what else they do that is unsanitary.
