I totally agree… lingerie = Jacob, clothing = Smart Set and Zara. What can I say? You know these places are good when you’ve looked around and the quality is simply the best at these spots.
But come on, Jacob was pretty boring until lately. though I’ve bought a great cherry windbreaker from here, their casual styles have been bland. Recently, the store’s had a shift, thus the lingerie and office wear. Lingerie is just perfect, and affordable, a lot is even better than CK. For office, the prices are a bit high, higher than Smart Set I’d say, but their stuff is really well made and I’m sure the store’s doing much better now… Good initiative, creative directors!

While I am complacent about Jacob clothing in and of itself, I am here to sing the praises of Jacob Lingerie!
I have been buying my underthings from Jacob for quite some time and I find their quality, affordability and choice to be unparalleled with other chain stores similar wares. The bras come in all types and sizes, as well as a multitude of colours and patterns. Prices range from 10 — 40 dollars which is more than acceptable and they are comfortable to boot! The undies are a good deal but I have generally stuck to buying my pricey but worth it Hanky Panky’s as of late. The sleepwear is always comfy and cozy and on sale, and the choice of sexy but not euro-​trashy lingerie is refreshing.
I highly recommend Jacob Lingerie as an alternative to La Senza or the Gap, where prices and quality are not of the same pedigree.
