King Koin Laundrette

Tried this place out today based on the reviews and yes it’s as good as expected and more. Genuinely friendly owner and staff, will return again! FYI, they have WIFI which is essential for a laundromat imo. Highly recommend.

Went in again this week and it was as great this time around as the last couple of visits!
Update on prices: They have two mega washers (perfect for large quilts, duvets and 2 pillows max) price is $ 6.50 a load. Regular washers are $ 2.25 a load.

We were in a jam. We needed to get my down jacket cleaned for an upcoming trip to Montréal, and my local dry cleaners wouldn’t take it. Found KKL on Unilocal,and called them. They said yes, they take down jackets.
I didn’t think to ask the price, but when we got there to drop the jacket off (it weighs five pounds), they only charged us $ 16.80. We were thinking it was going to be almost twice that.
When we picked up the jacket today, it was ominously wrapped in a black garbage bag, so we couldn’t tell how well it had been cleaned until we got it home, but once we removed it from the bag, we were relieved to see that it was perfectly cleaned and dried.
We’re very happy with our experience there.

I’m very independent when it comes to doing my laundry, cost concious too.
So when I was stacked with a six day work week and close to 20 lbs of dirty laundry, I had to submit to the laundry gods and go with the drop off service at King Koin.
At $ 1 a pound plus 5%, it’s a fair price. They offered to have it done sooner then when I needed it, but they were also professional and courteous about holding onto my clothes for the extra day until I can come pick them up.
Perhaps it’s because this is my first time doing drop-​off, but everything smells great, is folded nicely and neatly.
The laundromat is owned by a husband and wife. They are both friendly and professional. Never condescending, rude, or anything like that.
While I’ll always try to do my own laundry, I’m also a bit more open to dropping off. Especially when the service is this great, and the prices this fair.

Just visiting for a hockey tournament. Found this place on Unilocal so decided to come here cause of the two good reviews. It is great! Very clean, good new machines. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He will change over the money too. Highly recommended!

great service for the price. wash and fold in a day. good job
