Well organized and cheaper than some other places. I came here for some social wine for a dinner party in the year during the holidays. Customer service was awesome. They were super helpful, especially for someone like myself who knows very little about alcohol.

I’m not a huge fan at all. I get sucked in to coming here because I’m lazy and it’s extremely close to where I live.
They are terrible for stocking the cold wine. If you have a favourite that you love to get from the cooler, don’t get too attached. The row that had your wine cooling will stay empty for a long time. I’ve even grabbed a couple of warm bottles from within the store and put them in the cooler. This way, hopefully, the wine I like will be cold and stocked the next time I’m back.
Most of the staff are great and friendly, but there is this one older woman (you know who you are) who is absolutely unpleasant to look at and deal with. She’ll start conversations with other staff members across the store instead of giving the usual «hi, how are you, thank you». Ridiculously rude. If you don’t like what you’re doing move on, sister.
Bottom line, I’d rather go to the BC Liquor store next to the Safeway at Hastings and Willingdon.

Great alternative to the government liquor stores. Huge selection and frequent sales bring certain prices below government store prices sometimes. Friendly staff, convenient parking and open 365 days a year till 11pm. Even Christmas!

The service was good, but my regular purchase (3 bottles of Yellow Tail wine plus a six pack of cider) cost over 20% more than it does at the BC Liquor Store. Yikes!

Come here to get that hard to find liqueur, get that local/artisan/craft brew, and your VQA wines in BURNABY. This is the only private liquor store in this part of Burnaby that I know if. You can find some good deals on some wines too! And they’re open late.

Although located RIGHT BESIDE the Old Admiral Pub, this large, well stocked liquor location is entirely a separate entity. There are a few locations so perhaps there’s one near you?
Open EVERY day 9am-11pm, here you’ll find almost anything that strikes your fancy.
Tonight I wandered into the wine selection (OMG how to choose just one?) and settled after some time, on a Jackson Triggs Shiraz which is currently on sale at $ 8.99 (until July ³⁄₁₀ apparently).
Yeah I got two.
The male cashier was super friendly, being both polite and prompt. (They even had my 37 year old self show my ID — which can only be a compliment)
