Very good service, and reasonable price with very large portion, highly recommend to came!

If I could rate them zero stars, I would.
First off, my experience was bad enough that I didn’t even give them a chance to serve me food, so this rating is simply based on their service. Also, their menu is a complete Deer Garden Signatures rip off.
My parents and I walked in, and we were immediately asked how many was in our party, pretty standard stuff. We saw an empty table to the side and asked if we could be seated there for added comfort, but was told it’s reserved. The next table over (which could seat six) was occupied by one of the kitchen staff and here I was thinking to myself, this isn’t good for business. Why would you allow a staff to occupy one of your larger side tables during the dinner rush (7:30pm)?
At this time, I still gave them the benefit of the doubt. Once the staff member was finished with dinner, I asked another waitress whether we could move to that table, but was told we could move to the corner table close to the entrance. I told her the corner table is reserved, as there was a ‘reserved’ sign there, but she told us, it’s not reserved. She then proceeded to move the ‘reserved’ sign to the table we requested.
Needless to say, her attitude was off-​putting and we weren’t impressed. She basically moved the ‘reserved’ sign to the table we wanted with no valid reasoning. We walked out of the restaurant and will not be giving them a second chance.

Was pretty good rip off for Deer Garden type food. Only thing was a bit salty and they forgot our side order. Seems to be a trend according to other reviewers. There seemed to be a lot of people milling around and kind of chaotic. But good for them for having enough staff.

This place was a bit of a disappointment for me.
The food: knock-​off of Deer Garden Signatures, (the order sheets looks almost identical), where you can customize your meal by selecting broth/​soup, noodles, and toppings for a customized meal. It’s not as delicious as I hoped, but decent if I had a craving and don’t want to drive out to Fraser street for original fish noodle soup from Deer Garden.
Service and payment: service was typical of a Chinese café, they even accept interact. What really disappointed me was that at time of payment, they threw in a «minimum $ 20 total» to qualify for the use of debit at us. Our bill came to $ 18.50, and they wouldn’t let us pay with our card.
Ambiance: some renos were done, and there were some new furnishings different from the previous Curry King that occupied this space, but nothing special.
Overall impression: Meh. I live across the street, and I would only return if I really had a craving, but it’s not some place I would frequent to eat.

Be prepared for the worst service ever.
Ordered flat rice noodles. They gave me vermicelli. Ran out of flat noodles. They forgot our chicken wings, breaded fish and deep fried pork. Other tables received our side orders. The wife ordered fish balls and specialty pork sausage w flat rice noodles. Only the fish balls were in the soup with vermicelli noodles. Ran out of pork sausage. Expect 4 fish balls only. Forgot the oyster sauce on the gai lan. Go to deer garden signature at 47^th and fraser. Son’s smoothie was served in a small cup.

I remember coming here earlier in the year ’cause one of my buddies who is part of the Food Bloggers meet up and lives around the area (he has since not been a part of meet up, however, that is a story for another day). I came here on recommendation by him and I was not pleased at all. I ordered the noodles with beef and not only was the portion small but there was way too much salt on it. It was a sodium suicide. I didn’t review it before ’cause I didn’t take a receipt now a card as to the business, however, as soon as someone posted a pic of the outside and I viewed their interior and menu it rang a bell and not in a good way. The waitress messed up my tea order twice, first she forgot and then she brought me the wrong one.

My first visit to this café is disappointing. We arrived here at 9 and by the time we finished it was 10:30. It took that long because waitress A has miss placed our order, and waitress B came take our order again after 20 minutes whereas people came after us were almost done… How lucky we are! That’s a No!
Then, waitress C keep bringing us other person’s order. That’s a No No!
I was sweating the whole time as their so called A/​C is so mild that I can hardly feel cool at all. That’s a big No No!
Other than that, service and the food taste not bad. But I doubt that I shall return any time soon…
I really think we deserved an apology which didn’t happen… Oh, well. My actual ratings are 2.5 solid.
