We noticed that we pass by this place every time we go to the mall, but we never see people inside. We decided to give it a chance because we were very hungry and their menu looked great. The interior is small, but its very cozy and quiet. They play soft, Chinese light rock and pop and its pretty peaceful. We ordered takoyaki, which was delicious and at just the right temperature for eating. Never have any of the other places we went to served it so ready to be eaten. Our main course were our own mini hot pots, which come out on these adorable trays with rice and sauce and a little burner under the pot. The lamb was delicious, as were the eggs and vegetables. We would like to try dessert next time we go. Be hungry if you come for hot pot! Its very filling and there is so much for such a tiny bowl. Also, they ONLY accept cash, but there are three atm in the mall you can easily get cash from.

I was there a lot back in my high school days. Decide to give it a try for old times sake… I had the de-fried chicken drum stick rice, which tasted ok but the price is almost 10 dollars after tax. For its portion… I felt ripped off. I can get the same quality of chicken at other Taiwanese joint and with bigger portion too… Now the disgusting part, my gf ordered a curry pork cutlet rice. It took them a longgggg time, well above 20 mins to prepare this.(we were the only table in the restaurant after the dinner time), I tried the first piece of the pork cutlet. and it tasted so foul I had t spit it all out, the pork must have gone bad.(rotten and sour taste) My gf tried a small bite and complain to the waitress. She apologized and took the pork cutlet back into the kitchen and say we will make you a new one… After 5 – 10 mins or so, she brought us another pork cutlet, we immediately notice the heavy usage of white peppers on the cutlet itself…(we were guessing that they are using it to cover the bad taste of pork? I hope not…) We gave it another try… this time, the foul taste was not as bad, but I know that the pork is not fresh at all. It still has a hint of that rotten meat smell. We decide to just finish whatever’s left other than the pork cutlet. BEWARNED: DONOTORDERCURRYPORKCUTLET.

I’ve been here once before a while ago with my family and my in-law for some lunch or early dinner. Recently though, when me and my family member was going to Crystal mall to do some grocery shopping, we decided to come here again for a quick bite. Sadly the food was somewhat bland and didn’t taste really… good. I ordered this beef rib thing and the beef tasted like it had been cooked a while ago, like if it was just preheated or been under the warmer or something… what surprised me was that it took 20+ minutes to get that order out, despite the fact that it wasn’t busy at all, like there was only a couple other customers around. Seriously, it just didn’t taste fresh enough. Also the prices was only okay at best. What shocked me at the end was that I think I saw a very small black speck of dirt or something frozen along side in one of the ice from the iced tea that I had ordered… either that or my eyes was playing tricks on me.
