I was nervous to try this place because it is so small and no other customers were there. But is was a wonderful surprise and a little gem of a place that people don’t know about. Even though there were no menus, we told the cook what we would like and he offered suggestions too. It was a little slow to come out(for a party of 5) but it was amazing when it did come. The serving sizes were large and very elaborate with carved garnishes and small cabbage salad on the side. Since this visit, I have returned 3 other times. I get something different every time and it has all been good. The service was great and super friendly. I noticed the review before said the staff didn’t speak English. I think that must have improved because they had English now. And the chef must be making a menu because last time, I ordered from looking at his camera and all the pictures he had taken of different foods. Also, one of our visits, we ordered the special of the day and the food was served in just minutes. But if you all order something different, it might take 20 minutes or so to come out. But it was worth the wait.

* Turkish café * This little café was a welcome surprise. They offer a small selection of freshly baked Turkish items such as baklava, and böreks. I had the beef börek for lunch, which was served with a side of a nice thick Turkish yogurt. The pastry itself was nice and flaky, and the beef filling was well seasoned. Pairing the yogurt with the flaky pastry and beef made for a nice combination. My only«beef» with the börek was that they reheated it in a way that made parts of it slightly soggy(I’m guessing microwave?). That was a shame, as it was a nice one which got just a little rubbery in parts because of the reheating process. I wish they would reheat in an oven and take a little longer(it would be worth the wait). So a minus 1 on what would have been a 4 star lunch otherwise. Priced fairly at $ 7(tax inclusive). Photos: and Service was extremely friendly, although with almost zero English skills. I think I prefer the burek at Bernie’s Balkan Kitchen not too far away where it maintains its crispness:
