I dislike visiting shopping malls. On a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 is cleaning the oven and 5 is taking a 2 day long international flight with zero leg space, I would put it at a 3. But, my recent visit to Metropolis had a redeeming factor when I finally got to try out Opa. This place had been on my wishlist for some time now. We ordered the chicken platter which came with chicken souvlaki skewer, rice, roasted potato and tzatziki. We also ordered an extra beef skewer. The skewers were okay, nothing out of ordinary. But it made a good combination with the rice and roasted potatoes. The pitas were so soft and fluffy, so much better than the ones you get in regular grocery stores! Overall it was a good food for the price, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Awesome food I got the salad platter(can’t remeber what it’s called) with the chicken skewer and it was the best food I’ve ever had. I usually go for the pita wrap but this time I wanted to try something new and it was worth it. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get(it looks small at first but when you eat it you realize it is more than enough for one person) no matter what food you get. Get extra tzatziki because it is the best dip ever.

I just had lunch there! We had two gyro combos with fries, and a calamari combo with Greek salad. This was probably the best lunch I have had all year! Not only were the staff amazing and well presented, but they were smoking busy! Everything came out in minutes, was hot and made to order. The fries seasoned perfect, calamari fresh and crispy.(I knew the calamari would be great the way the cashier yelled out«CALAMARI» to the kitchen.) The star of the lunch I would say was the Greek salad. It was a generous portion all around, and I can’t wait to go back and eat more!

Best value for a large plate of Greek food in the Metrotown food court. I always can’t finish mine and end up for left overs. I am addicted to the Greek salad.

I’ve been going to this location for a number of years. This is at the higher end of food court pricing but since the food is pretty good, I don’t grumble about it too much. I’ve had a ton of things off their menu and they’re all really good but the Calamari is easily the best. They cook it fresh in front of you and it has just the right amount of batter. It’s doesn’t feel too greasy and is seasoned just right. To be honest, I have not had better Calamari, even at a sit down restaurant. So I either don’t eat at enough Greek restaurants or this is as good as I’m telling you. Like any fast food type place, there are things where they have to take shortcuts on. They precook much of their souvlaki so it’s not coming fresh off the grill. This is not typically problematic for this location because it’s always so busy so it’s not like everything has too much time to sit around and dry out. I’ve eaten here dozens of times and the worst meal I ever had was at 8:50pm when they were closing down and they gave me a souvlaki meal for half price and warned me it might be a bit overdone. Even with slightly dry chicken, it was still perfectly seasoned and I smothered it in tzatziki to eliminate the dryness issue. They work pretty fast and will assemble your plate however you like. The staff is friendly and they are clearly working hard. They kind of have no choice because it’s always so busy. :)
