I love Wing Wong’s Nursery! It’s one of three Nurseries next to each other on Marine Drive. My Mom and I have been coming here for years and for the last four years I have been bringing friends to help them with their plantings.
This one is usually my favourite for a few reasons:
Prices — there is a decent range of prices from low end to high end for larger plants.
Selection — Lots to choose from and HEALTHY plants! I especially love the selection of herbs and veggies I can get here to grow in my garden.
Sizes — as mentioned you can buy individual plants, small groupings in a 6 pack or flats of flowers — again, all healthy and disease free.
They are not open all year… I think they open close to May 1 each year but during the Spring /Summer they have pretty good hours. And they are busy! Go early if you can for the first selection of the season!
