In my neverending quest to find a pair of jeans that fit my ass; I wandered in to 100% Legit, as I was told that they carried Nelly’s Applebottoms line, and these are supposed to be THE jeans for ladies that don’t have a back that goes straight in to their legs. My sister mentioned to me that her (then) boyfriend (now husband) got all his clothes from 100% Legit. As I was too busy giggling over this revelation; I hardly considered it an endorsement, but, hey! Why not try a pair of Applebottoms and House of Dereon jeans?
I go inside and this ridiculously happy clerk was playing old-​school jams. When he saw me, he greeted me with a warm smile and told me to try on anything I wanted, and that this brand and that brand was on sale. It was hard not to get caught up in his enthusiasm for life. I love that kind of energy in a place of business! I grabbed a bunch of jeans and went to try them on. There wasn’t a single pair that didn’t have something delightfully tacky bedazzled on each cheek. Awesome. These were going to be my high class party jeans. Not really :).
If you shop here, I’ll probably make fun of you. With love.
