I would say this will be the first and last store you will ever have to go to if you are in the market in purchasing a serious diamond.
My fiancé and I made the mistake of going to an «Annoying Radio heavey advertising» place and had an extremely unpleasant experience which in the end left with a product that I was still unhappy with after 5 brutal trips and run around serivce but still, this «radio heavy advertising» place still couldn’t get my size correct.
After that experience I wish I could start all over again and shop at Alberta Diamond Exchange. They took care of my concerns and gave me honest recommendations of what to do with the product that I was stuck with from the other place. Showed us better quality products and prices. Lovely experience with them. They for sure have a returning customer in the future and I’ll definitely recommend them over all other local competitors. Alberta Diamond Exchange don’t advertise alot cause they don’t need to with the quality service they provide. Word of mouth from happy customers is all they need.

My relationship with ADE has been long and interesting, but through it all they have been insanely helpful.
I had a friend direct me to this place, as they do custom work and after a trip to Spence (never buy there!!! So over priced) and many other jewellers, we decided to go that route. I had found a picture of a ring I was after, with some mods of course.
We got my engagement ring made, which I was madly in love with. We didn’t really plan for weddings bands at the time, but went there as well. Due to the ring I had, I got 2 black diamond eternity bands.
Over the course of 2.5 years I have managed to wreck 3 sets of wedding bands. Which shocks everyone when I say that, apparently I’m really hard on things. So after the debacle, we decided to start fresh with one right instead of 3, we kept the main diamond, but will have to redo the rest. I am looking forward to it, as I hoping I love it and I don’t destroy it.
All along the way, we have dealt with Danielle Duval, who is wonderful, creative and knows her stuff and even with me being a disaster with rings, they’ve worked with us to get mine fixed and new ones.

Before heading to ADE, we headed to the radio marketing obsessed competitor. Not a great experience to say the least. Complete pressure sales technique and not cheap.
We were helped through our entire engagement/​wedding ring purchase with the lovely Haley Murphy. Haley was always friendly, helpful honest and sweet. We chose a band from a catalogue exactly how I wanted and she advised that they would keep ordering rings until we found the right one. The wedding band was a little more arsin’ around given it had to be custom made, but they ended up giving it to us for an amazing price.
Their new location is in Aspen Woods, which isn’t particularly convenient given their old location was on 17^th avenue.
I would definitely recommend you check out ADE for your honey’s ring just given the no pressure sales peeps.
