This Store is my absolute Favorite in Calgary!!! Dale is such a wonderful lady and loves her shop and sharing it with others… Always very nice as well… Ollie is a very cute puppy and is very affectionate.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for unique inexpensive jewwlry … and so much more…

Friendly service, incredible range of unique products, and affordability makes Doo-​Dads a true winner.
Many of the artisans are local, and there’s lots to choose from. Despite Christine N’s assertion, higher prices do not always equal ethical (in fact, you can spend a lot of money to assuage guilt that is actually contributing… diamonds, anyone?). Support local and buy yourself a new bauble.
Only detractor is that it is closed Sundays, which is bizarre as that’s a popular stroll/​shopping day through Marda Loop. I think they should close Mondays instead.

First I will say the positive. The store owner is an absolute joy. Sweet and so friendly. I’m not a fan of the jewellery though. I know people love the low prices but I can’t help but picture sweat shop workers putting this stuff together. I would rather pay $ 100 or more on one really good necklace that is original and hand made by a local artisan rather than buy 6 or 7 pieces of jewellery for $ 15 each that many other women have purchased as well. However it that’s what you’re looking for you will find it here and have great service to go with it.

From the moment I walked into Doo-​Dads, I had no doubt in my mind that this store would earn a perfect score.
From the service (the owner is attentive, honest and refreshingly enthusiastic and friendly!) to the selection, Doo-​Dads is every jewelry affectionado’s dream come true.
As Zoe L. and Lindsay K. both mentioned, aside from jewelry, this place also carries children’s toys, bath products and watches.
Carrying an assortment of Canadian designer lines, which all happen to be expertly organized according to colour, Doo-​Dads is a true find!

I had no idea this place existed until I walked by. The store is very open and simple. They have all their jewellery displayed openly so you can look, touch and try on with no trouble. Everything is sorted by color. There were mostly modern and funky pieces. The earrings went for around $ 11 mostly. The necklaces all seemed to go for around $ 14 to $ 18, which was very reasonable! There are a nice selection of unique purses and clutches. There were great scarves for $ 14. They had a small section of children’s toys in the back. The woman who runs the place was the most positive and friendly person I have met in a long time, she took a interest in everyone that was in the store. She would offer to take their, including my, selections to the counter so we didn’t have to carry them around. I looked and looked but only found a pair of earrings that I really liked. When I was paying the woman insisted that I have a lollipop, she was so sweet I could refuse!
I love this store, the pieces are all very reasonably priced and the service is above and beyond! It is a must go!

Now this is a cute store! You can’t be too sure walking into a place called Doo-​Dads, but this little personally-​owned store met standards. I don’t know what standards that is, but it certainly met them!
First of all, the lady who owns the store is positively the sweetest, liveliest, most friendly person I’ve ever experienced! She was so bubbly and spoke with such an excited manner to me, it actually made me a little happier inside. And you can tell she’s not one of those fake people who has to be nice because someone has just come into her store. She is genuinely a nice person and loves what she does!
And she’s got herself a pretty cute shop too. There’s a bunch of jewellery scattered around the store, but all neatly placed so you can see everything there is to offer. There are also a bunch of hats, scarves and purses for sale, as well as some things you wouldn’t think of buying.
Doo-​Dads sells these shower bombs. That’s different from a bath bomb in that you put it in your shower and the mist releases these aroma-​like scents all through your shower; it’s said to last 5 – 6 showers too! It has some pretty random stuff, but I guess that’s why the place is called ‘Doo-​Dads’ and not ‘Regular-​Stuff!’ I bought my Mom a foot scrubber thing that catches all the dead skin instead of having it fall to the floor. I thought that was nice since thinking about dead skin all over the place is just icky!
I just loved this store… even if there isn’t a whole lot for me to buy in it. I even liked that the lady had her puppy in the store. Now, he’s not the most customer-​friendly puppy, and he growled at me, but it’s still adorable. Head to Doo-​Dads for all the little stuff you need. It’s got lovely gifts and great ideas!
