Alberta Winestein

What a great concept! Alberta Winestein is a local online service from which you can order wine (duh) «sets» or collections as well as cheese and meat products. Basically, they are like an online aggregator of a few local wine, cheese and meat merchants.
They have packages a selection of wines up into themed packages like «Old World Charm», «Romance with France» and «Mighty Malbecs». The packages come at a variety of reasonable price points. It’s a great way to try different wines, without the hassle of having to go to a store and hope that the person you are talking to there has the time/​knowledge to recommend something. It gets delivered to your home or office (someone obviously needs to sign for it) and poof… you can enjoy your wine!
The order process was super easy and the design of the website makes it easy to explore and «shop». The delivery process was great and exactly as promise on the website.
I think its a great way to try new things or to stock up for your next party. I’d like to see a few more «all white» selections on their menu but otherwise I think it’s a home run!
