Zyn

I love this wine store! What a great selection of wines from around the world! These aren’t your typical wines you would find at just any liquor store they have been carefully selected to ensure quality is great and price is reasonable. The have quite the selection of bubbly which I appreciate and some lovely craft beers. I’ve only ever been pleasantly surprised by the wines I’ve purchased here so I’ll have to keep coming back! Oh and on Fridays they seem to have a bottle open for tastings which is a lovely start to the weekend!

Great place to grab some wine and try some different beers! Nice thing was that you could buy beer in singles so as to try a new without having to buy 6! The staff was nice and friendly! The one staff member seemed to know her wines when I was looking for a nice Chardonnay! Definitely give this place a try!

This wine and beer store is in the northeast corner of the Suncor Energy Centre. Like the main Zyn in Inglewood, it’s got a wall of beer full of many types that you don’t often find at other liquor stores in Calgary. You can usually buy singles which is good because when choosing beers that are $ 3 to $ 5 per bottle you may not want to commit to six of the same one.
I can’t speak much about the wine as I don’t know anything about it, but most of the floorspace is dedicated to it and it’s not a particularly small store (bigger than your typical strip mall liquor store but smaller than the Inglewood Zyn and the Co-​op stores).
I don’t understand how these liquor stores inside office buildings stay open (there’s a different one in Bow Valley right next door and another Zyn in Banker’s Hall), but I’m glad they’re around.
