Went in on a whim to grab a new little jean jacket for wear over my summer Maxi dresses. Had a pretty good shopping experience. The selection was decent and the manager on duty was actually wearing just the color denim jacket that I wanted. Nice to see employees wearing what they sell and she showed me right to them without being any kind of pushy. Loss of 1 star as wow, the prices are high — ex. Men’s T-shirt we loved, nothing crazy special about it was $ 44. I signed up for a Bootlegger member card for $ 10 and saved 30% today on my jacket and will save 10% all year for any future buys. We also got $ 5 off from a silly text code thing you can do at the register that just allows the company to capture all your valuable digits. I let hubby do that on HIS cell in case he gets any annoying calls. Lol! Not sure how much shopping I will do here but for your denim needs, this place has you covered. The manager was the one who checked me out and even brought my bagged purchase around the counter to me, handing it to me with a smile. It’s the little things…

Awful service — two tills, at least 6 people in line, but only one till open, rest of the staff chatting in a corner… not helpful. where was a manager? no idea… enough said.

5⁄30 I have the worst time finding jeans. WORST. I’ve got hips for days that don’t go away no matter how much yoga or 30 Day Shred I do. My waist to ass ratio is over a foot. My torso is longer than my legs. Ergo, I’m doomed to forever getting jeans tailored to fit me no matter where I go, unless I want a 2″ gap between my jeans and my backside every time I bend over and muddy hems. First world problems, ahoy. Bootlegger has found the cure for what ails me. With their slightly stretchy jeans, I don’t have to resort to buying a pair 2 sizes up that gaps when I bend or do the Asian Squat™. They’ll last you until you bail down a mountain after climbing to the top, and you shred your jeans from crotch to ankle in front of all your friends(hey, I was hungover from wine tasting and I went HIKINGUP A MOUNTAINTHENEXTDAY). And best of all… Bootlegger hems any regular priced jeans you purchase there, free of charge! All you have to do is wash them inside out first. Reasonably priced, too. I generally find jeans here for around $ 50. The staff here is really nice, and don’t make fun of me when I subject one and all to my jeans-testing stretching and squatting exercises. Although, I’d probably make fun of me. But, hey, if you can’t do those things when trying them on in the store, what makes you think you’ll be able to do them in the privacy of your home?
