I’m guilty. Very guilty. This is the second scone I’ve had this hour. Every visit here brings me so much joy! Plus I leave with a bag full of goodies to share with everyone… sharing is caring right? My absolute favorite for a sweet treat is their berry & white chocolate scone. Its the perfect size, and texture. Their scones are perfect to eat alone or with an afternoon tea. If I’m looking for something more savory, their ham & cheese croissant is the bomb. Even better when you heat it up… mmmmmmmmm. There are always samples available to try if you’re ever unsure. I always grab a piece of raisin bread when I’m waiting: D Anytime I need something for a potluck, I always come here for something quick to bring. Love getting their tea times and hot crossed buns. Totally a must visit if you’re in the area!

Nothing better than fresh baked bread. Cobs is our favorite bread. The sweets are delicious. Apple Danish is the best. Cinnamon buns. Mmm. Scones heated with butter can’t beat! The cheese breads and buns are a great addition to a bowl of soup at lunch. Can you tell we basically build our meals around Cobs baked goods?

Clean, good selection of pastries and bread for it being 3pm on a Saturday. The place was jumpin’ but the line moved quickly. Adored the samples of bread at the front, my sample was like a rye bread with herbs inside — yummy! We bought some whole wheat hamburger buns, a berry and white chocolate scone and a ham and cheese bun. The latter 2 are for tomorrow morning with coffee and I have no doubt that they will be as delicious as they look. Decent pricing! Bravo Cobs!

I don’t seem to recall other Cobs bakeries in town having as many samples at the ready as this one, but I almost jumped for joy when I walked in the door and saw what was waiting for me. The woman working was a sample pusher too, so my taster greediness was vindicated. The end result of my visit was that I walked out with a banana chocolate chip scone. It’s actually the least delicious thing I’ve ever had from Cobs. It was loaded with chips but the banana flavor was absent. However, I can vouch for the amazing Gingerbread scones which are seasonal, so you had better make a trip soon if you enjoy Gingerbread as much as I do. I love their apple & custard teatime! Soft, chewy bread laced with an abundance of raisins, currants and apples… with just the right amount of sweetness!

We take our kids to Beaners to get haircuts. Beaners is in a strip mall next to Cobs Bread in Country Hills. This is the second time we’ve visited this bakery after/before hair cuts and the second time we’ve been impressed. We were heading out in the afternoon on our first camping trip of the year and so a few bakery treats before a hair cut was definitely in order. I was grateful there were no other customers in the store… at least for a few minutes as I had a very busy and excited 4 year old in tow and so it took us a few minutes to decide what to buy. Fortunately the lady behind the counter was super friendly and patient, encouraging samples while we decided and for us to start a frequent shopper card. We ended up leaving with some cinnamon buns, ham & cheese croissants, banana & chocolate chip scones and the ham/cheese pull apart bread. Everything tasted so fresh and yummy. Cobs is a must!

Sorry, you loose a star thanks to the old lady asshole who has short orange hair behind the counter in the mornings. I like to take my time deciding what will have a part in enlarging my ass so if it is an inconvenience for you, you can either: A.) STFU while I decide, its not like there was a line up at 9:00am. B.) Try not rolling your eyes when I ask what is in something, I have food sensitivities and prefer not dying if I can help it. C.) Not work with directly dealing with customers if you have no patience. But despite the above, I still love you Cobs, just 86 Krusty the Clown and we will be good again.
