I was putting together my wedding vendor list and revisited the photographer that did our engagement shots(well one set of them) and discovered they were out of business. Further digging found them renamed Ever After Photography. This is Amanda’s third photography business in three years I’m aware of. Moreton Photography, Simply Simile Photography and now Ever After Photography. She’s not simply rebranding while linking old websites to the new brand(for return customers) she’s cutting and running. Why would any business find this a good strategy? Good customer rapport along with good products/services brings in referrals and repeat business. So then why? Maybe my past experience wasn’t isolated but that’s not for me to know. I won’t simply cut and paste from my lengthy Simply Smile review, but you can find that if you’re interested(it’s in the wedding list attached to this post) but when I dealt with her under that name a year ago she was flighty, communication lacked and she over promised # shots and time and under delivered in quantity and quality. Only a couple shots were very good and most were just off the mark. There are examples of the two extremes on my other review. One should never have gone to a client and the other was pretty good(a shot I asked for).
