this is my first experience with a tailor, but they did a fantastic job. I went to the Marda Loop location to get a Super Dry brand wool jacket re-​lined. It’s a bit of a complicated jacket, with several interior pockets, double collar and double breasted. It is one of few pieces of clothing that I have invested money into, so i was weary about making it worse when the lining got torn on it, but Henry’s did a great job, matched the material to the jacket and it is as good as new! They’d even re-​sewn the patches and accoutrement on top of the new lining to match the original look, nice touches. I don’t know much about tailoring costs, but given the job and complexity, getting the coat re-​lined for $ 110 seemed like a great deal to me, and i am happy with the outcome.

Took in a Dolce & Gabbana three piece suit to have several alterations made: pants hemmed, sleeves taken up, and vest taken out. Great technical tailoring with honest suggestions. I like my pants cut a bit shorter (around ankle length) and Henry suggested a slight taper in the pants to give better proportional balance. Henry also managed to keep the surgeon cuffs on the jacket despite having to take up the sleeves quite a few inches. This was pleasantly surprising to me because no tailor at Holts or Harry Rosen has ever been able to do this for me. He was also honest about the limitations of shortening the sleeves through the armhole. Overall, Henry’s Tailoring provides one of the finest tailoring services in all of Calgary.

This shop preforms amazing work at great prices. I had a $ 1400 Hugo boss suit completely refitted for $ 180.00. They are very consistent with their quality of work. I take everything there now exclusively.

Got a couple of two piece, single breasted suits done. Excellent work and great fabrics. Henry dominates the suit game.
