I found Ingear while strolling Kensington Ave, and although there are lots of things to look at, the entire store seems like one big jumble of things! Almost like stepping inside a curio cabinet. I liked some of the jewellery and some of it appeared to be by local designers. I went home with some really affordable and very cute earrings. Happy to have stopped in!

Ingear is a cute little gift shop on a Kensington side street. What initially caught my attention was the nice old house it was located and the steps that were required to enter the store. Inside was stuffed with various things including hand bags, jewelry, books, travel accessories, various other gifts too numerous to mention. The nearest store that I’ve seen in Calgary(so far) to this place is probably Steeling Home(on 17th Avenue). However and in my opinion, Ingear’s selection is a bit less funky, better chosen, and with slightly more taste. Ingear is also a good place for Husbands who have been away on business too long and who want to bring something home that is classy and well appreciated. I didn’t leave disappointed…

InGear has to be one of the most amazing gift and accessory shops in Calgary. The store is laid out in different sections very much like I appeal or Steeling Home but with one huge difference, exquisite taste and the most unique gift items I have ever seen. They have beautiful blown glass accessories, incredible jewellery selections, very chic bags and purses. Wonderful Japanese tea and sushi sets. The list just goes on and on. Plus they don’t just stop at decorative items they actually have a full dining room sets that are with luxurious designs and high quality woods. I will totally come back to this store the next time I need to buy a gift. I wish they had more than just this one location! Move over Urban Barn here comes InGear.

In Gear is a cute little store in Kensington that carries a mish mash of things. They’ve got purses, wallets, jewellery, back packs, scarves, and the list goes on and on. The store workers are very nice and friendly and they have a lot of cool stuff on display. Although they do have a vast array of stuff, there wasn’t really anything that I wanted to take home with me the last time I swung by. Maybe I was having an off day. In Gear is definitely a handy store to have around and would make a great pit-stop on the way to a friend’s birthday dinner. You’re Welcome.
