I don’t know if the foot bath was cleaned because we didn’t see it get cleaned after the lady before me, and my sister has a fungus under her nails now! Looks disgusting and yellows-green. She says it hurts and itches like crazy! We would NEVER return!

I like it here! Great price, my favourite thing has to be that I can request for my own personal kit — it’s about $ 25 so worth it. I come here often for my shellac nails, they take their time doing your nails which I appreciate it. You can tell the owner takes great pride in her shop, and I really appreciate that. I love supporting small business and I feel extremely valued here.

Can you give a half star??? I have given this place multiple attempts at giving a decent shellac manicure. Each time with the same results. Failure. Not only did my nails chip within an hour of leaving the salon, when I returned to have it fixed she peeled the polish off with a pair of cuticle trimmers taking the top layer of my own nail with it. I have since come to realize there are numerous other problems and have taken my business elsewhere with great results!

I have to say that i have always had a good experience at LA Nails and Spa. I really like the owner and found the salon clean and professional compared to others in the area. Having said that I was getting the same girls but if they have changed staff that could change. It always depends on the person you get which is the same in an expensive high end salon. I’m going again this week, so we’ll have to see how it goes!

Sitting at work while sadly looking at my chipped 4 day old manicure prompted me to write this review. I’m pretty upset that this was the second time I went to this salon, and the second time my manicure lasted less than a week. I know L.A. Nails is cheap. I got a manicure and pedicure for $ 40. That’s pretty damn cheap. But if I’m paying them to do my nails, I would expect them to ATLEAST do a better job than I do for myself. The lady who did my pedicure was pretty good. However, I think she cut the bottom of my foot with that scary razor thing. That is a HUGE no-no in the salon industry. Emma, you should be happy that you didn’t get the razor. I’m still praying to God that I don’t get some kind of delayed fungal infection. The lady who did my nails did a sub-par job. I found that my cuticles weren’t perfectly groomed, and 4 days later, the polished already chipped. The manicures that I give myself always last a full week. Not impressed. With that being said, my pedicure did turn out nicely. That is something I would pay for, but for the future, I don’t think I’ll EVER pay for someone else to do my manicures!
