This is my most favourite store. The moment you walk in you are greeted by bright beautiful colours and the smell of champa, jasmine and frankincense. The staff and owner are fantastic and completely down to earth willing to help you with whatever you are looking for. It can be sensory overload in here but I love that about this store. There is always something my eye has missed and the next time I go in I spot it! Everything you could want at amazing prices are here. I highly recommend their jewellery(bought about 10 pieces already), dresses, shirts, purses and more! Prices are amazing, quality is outstanding and you are supporting fair trade and a small family business in Calgary… A lot of great aspects right there! Get ready to get lost and amazed in this hidden gem. It will steal your heart :)

What a great find! I learned about Singing Bowls today and how they can help in mediation. I had never heard of these before. The staff worker there — she was friendly and amazing! She told me about the family run store and how hands-on the owners are and their exotic trips. The store has a LOT of stuff(but neat and smells incredible of incense) You have to go around a few times to see everything. Mexican, Tibetan, Guatemalan, from blankets to clothing(lots) to masks, jewelry galore and statues — this place has a bit of everything for that Spiritual person that wants to be transported to a different place in an instant! I did not purchase this time around but I know I will be back. The store has a drawing quality to it where it feels good to be there.

I walked into Mañana on just the right day. The owner had returned with hundreds of silver rings from Thailand. And most of them are one-of-a-kind, at least in his shop. With artifacts, gidgets, gadgets, and other pleasantries from all across the globe, I love the fact that I will find something different every time I visit. The owner and his wife travel all over the world to bring back pieces to sell. They work on a local level, dealing directly with those that make the goods. That warrants an A in my books. It’s also reasonably priced. The silver ring I came out with was around $ 35, and has a fun Celtic-ish pattern to it. Why no A plus? Well, the store isn’t very big, but it is pretty full. It’s a bit difficult to have a good look at everything here without feeling a bit overwhelmed. Best time to go? During the week if you can.
