This place has left a sour taste in my mouth time and time again. Mostly due to the front desk staff. I don’t know whether it’s because we have free medical care here but patient care is definitely lacking. It is rare that you will get someone that genuinely cares for you. I spoke with a Rhonda over the phone, and she made a mistake booking my appointment but was unapologetic about it, condescending and really impatient when we tried to reschedule. It made me feel frustrated almost even belittled. I had to tell her I’d call back so I could speak to someone else instead. When I called back to schedule another appointment I spoke with another staff member and it went smoothly, however, day of my appointment I happened to miss it. I received a call to remind me that I had failed to show and that I have to pay $ 50 before I book any more appointments. I told her that I forgot and that it was my mistake, but it would’ve helped if I recieved a reminder call or something? As I was trying to say this i was getting cut off mid sentence telling me that they don’t do reminder calls and that I signed a contract. I was surprised that she didn’t even have the patience to listen to me! She just kept cutting me off and didn’t show the least bit of empathy for my situation! Do they have robots working there or something? I understand that this is still a business and that they need to make money. But I’ve been a loyal patient that has yet to miss any appointments, I don’t feel like I have to pay for the first occurrence. I feel like this office needs to understand that we’re all people, we make mistakes as do they. I’m just saying that this office should reconsider some of their policies and staff members. If you want to be treated like a child please, do come to this office, they won’t fail you in that regard.

So I was really sick with a cough, sore throat and pretty much everything else. I usually get better in 3 – 4 days but this time I was still hurtin after 1 ½ weeks. I decided to go to the doctor to see if anything was wrong. I remembered that this clinic(drop-ins accepted) recently opened up just a few minutes from my house so decided to check it out. I arrived at 8:55 knowing that it opened at 9. There were 2 other cars waiting for the place to open too so just waited for the doors to open to get in. The doors opened at 9 sharp and we all walked in. We were greeted immediately by a friendly person at the front, she took down our info then were just told to have a seat. A few people were in before me but my name was called after about 15 minutes(not a long wait by other medical clinic standards). I wasn’t waiting too long for the Dr. either who was a friendly young dude(forget him name though). He asked some questions and told me I would just have to rest and there’s not much I could do. Overall was a pretty good experience as nobody wants to wait in a room for an hour or more with a bunch of sickos when you are sick yourself. Given that, I wouldn’t recommend anyone go at 9am when they first open because finders keepers, that’s my time :-) 8⁄30
