So I decided to make Xmas gifts this year, which was a custom picture board. I ventured to this location, when I probably should have gone to Beacon Hill. I was there for close to TWO hours as I couldn’t find anyone to help me with things. There was only two people working the till and the line about was about 20 minute wait. Absolutely no organization, stuff was in the wrong areas, and super low stock. I managed to get what I needed to, but I will definitely not return to this location.

As a graduate of Mount Royal University, this was the go-to place to get glitter, poster board, giant wooden letters for projects we may have put off. This Michaels is largggeeeee, with basically everything you could need if you want to bedazzle your denim shorts, you never nude. This is the land of small aisles and everyone here uses a shopping cart, let me get by I want to buy a paint by numbers! It’s always chaotic, mum’s searching for styrofoam balls to create their child’s solar system science project, bridezilla’s getting the right sparkle for their centre pieces(not me, no, sir, I am calm). They give Air Miles. The artificial flowers make me think of a funeral home, and crafting can be expensive, but get one of their coupon deals and you are golden. This is the Wal-Mart of crafting.
