I can’t believe I’m reviewing this place when it’s set to close in less than a few weeks!
Ah the memories of the Deer Valley Rogers. I’m pretty sure it has been around since my arrival in Canada as a young buck. I was amazed the first time I walked in– MOVIES and VIDEO games galore. Thank you Rogers for providing me with an endless source of western cultural education (even though it caused me some disillusionment) for decades.
A month ago it seemed everything was fine when I had walked into the store. They had great sales on previously viewed movies and games and had ample copies of movies (Christmas movies!!) that I was in search off. Then a week ago I walked in to find huge sale banners «75% off! buy 1 and get 2 more free!!» along with packed boxes and barren wasteland shelves. I didn’t even see the same friendly staff I usually see. I weeped as I stockpiled in your final sale of goodies.
I hope you enjoy your bliss in video rental heaven, Deer Valley Rogers Video, cozy up with the beta-​max, VHS, and DVD movies you have been unable to sell. Please forgive me for betraying you with my Netflix, Itunes, Zip, and Blockbuster rentals. I at least should have joined your customer rewards program. I will forever salute your location in memorandum
