Smokers Corner

I walked into the shop and it was clean and offered a wide selection of premium juices and an excellent selection of vape’s. The owner was a pleasure to talk to and provided me with outstanding customer service. He took his time with me and didn’t rush me in making a selection. I am thrilled at the service that I received, and will definitely be bringing my business here again the next time I am in town! Also, the parking provided makes visiting this shop very convenient! Thumbs up for this 17^th avenue location! :)

Clean, decent selection and prices. What has driven my review down is the staff and owners, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went 3 times, in case they were having a bad day. They were not; every time I have been met with pomposity and defensiveness.
They ask what you would like and then they immediately go to the most expensive item that has more features etc that you don’t need or want. When you politely say that is more than I need and is out of my price range; eyes are immediately rolled and audible sighs are made.
While they are «educating» you on a product they talk to you like you are intellectually deficient and there is no way you could possibly know more. Which made me laugh since the owner has contradicted himself multiple times.
And God forbid you say you would like to think about something they immediately jump on the defensive and take it personally, almost shouting at you that you won’t find a better price online, their store has the best prices etc. If true why are you so desperate for a sale?
I generally get along with staff, managers and owners, so to be treated like this kills the enjoyment of shopping. Personally I’ll be going to the Airdrie location from now on despite the drive, it’s bigger, has a better selection and the staff is awesome!!!

Went into this store because my friend wanted to buy some rolling papers. Its a tiny store but has tons of product… papers, bongs, hookahs, jewellery … The girl working the front, I think if not just lethargic, might have been high… she was wearing a giant hoodie, with the hood on. Maybe Im just being a priss but I found that slightly unprofessional? I kind of felt she was a bit on the defensive when we asked about a few items in the store, which was weird, since we were just making general inquiries, but she definately knew her stuff.
She explained to us the «pop cans» were in fact places to stash weed/​hash etc… They really did look like cans of Sprite and Dr Pepper. She informed us that if the police were to scan the barcode, it would actually recognize it as the drink product. AMAZING. the things people come up with.
On a side note, I did enjoy how clean the store was. Everything was laid out meticulously, to showcase everything they offer.

Great selection and friendly staff

My first visit to Smoker’s Corner was awesome!!! I just moved to the area so it really nice to have such a cool local head shop with such a friendly staff! (the whole time we were chatting and laughing)
I’m so impressed with their selection, i collect bongs so i love all the sweet add ons they have. Good deals on a huge selection of papers, and all the essencials. I ended up bringing home such an awesome goodie bag and so much more that i want. The key things to check out are the glass pipe’s, the hooka’s and a new product i tried called hayze spice.

Smoker’s Corner is a Calgary head shop that’s head and shoulders above the competition.
Not because they have a far superior selection but because they hire great people which makes for a great shopping experience. They carry all the bongs, pipes, papers and paraphernalia you need and the staff are helpful and friendly indeed.
I especially love the ironic juxtaposition of this head shop’s location next door to a health shop — priceless!
I highly recommend checking out the Smoker’s Corner. Believe me– I’m not just blowin’ smoke here. Well, maybe just a little.
