This is probably one of the worst Starbucks locations ever! I avoid it if I can. The staff in general are just «off» if you know what I mean. Tried using a free redemption and all hell breaks loose. The concept of free goes over their heads. And to top it off they don’t even make the drinks right. They most definitely do not go out of their way to make customers happy. They’re there solely for the pay cheque. Very disappointing.

Staff were not friendly. Had to repeat my drink order three times and ask for my coffee when the cashier started serving someone else without pouring my order. Had to ask for milk. It was slow, and somehow I was in the coffee shop for 15 minutes? I’m glad I wasn’t in a rush.
I would never review a Starbucks but this one was the worst.

It works. I find that most starbucks coffee tastes burnt, but if I don’t want to go out of my way for better brew, I’ll settle with this.
As far as franchises go, Mcdonalds still has better coffee.

I really enjoy this Starbuck’s, the staff are friendly and fast! I definitely recommend this location. The only downfall is that they use a different Soy Milk then they do in the states. I really wish Starbuck’s would correct this inconsistency! The difference: Starbuck’s in the US uses a vanilla soy milk, the Starbuck’s in Canada uses regular unflavored soy! I used to get Starbuck’s nearly every day in the states. I have it about once every two weeks to a month here.

I typically don’t review mega chains, since what can you really say? But I made it a goal to review my whole Calgary trip, and I did have a slightly different than usual SBux experience here.
The layout? Good set-​up? The light? Nice and sunny with lots of windows? The drinks? Totally incorrect. They also weren’t made in the order that customers ordered them. I mean, nothing disastrous. A venti latte instead of a grande? Not the end of the world, but way too much to drink.
My advice? If you know the city better than I do (which you surely do), head somewhere local instead.

We like this location best because the beverages are always prepared right the first time.
The staff are super friendly but professional.
A bonus is that the parking lot is FREE. The parking stalls aren’t all squeezed together & you can actually enter/​exit the lot without having to watch your bumpers. Not the case for other Starbucks locations around Calgary.
