Wow! I can’t believe I’m the first one to review Sukiyaki’s famous Tonkinese Noodle Soup or in Cantonese«Ngau Lam Mein»(Braised Beef Noodle Soup). Go early and line up for this hot bowl of goodness! I’m not kidding about the long line-up! Order and pay up first and then move to the right for the noodle soup bar. Incidentally, move to the left if you order teppanyaki items. They dunk the noodles in hot boiling water and then dump the noodles in the empty Styrofoam bowl. Then, the wonderful tender, braised beef is put into the bowl. They ask if you want cilantro, green onions, Bok Choy and bean sprouts into the bowl. Then the hot piping soup is poured into the bowl. Most of the time, they have a special ground pork and ask if you would like to add to the noodle soup. Sure, why not? Grab your chopsticks and spoon. Make sure you get a little hot chili oil and a free cup of water ‘cos you will need it to cool you down! There’s even white pepper if you need it. I’ve seen a lot of people down that noodle soup, slurping up every goodness in that food court!
