Review #26 of Unilocal’s 30 Day Challenge 2012 If you’re planning a gathering and you need a whole lot of alcohol for not a whole lot of money and you’re looking for wholesale prices but don’t have a membership to that other wholesale kind of place that also sells liquor on the discount, The Real Canadian Liquorstore is what you’ll want to be looking for. Each of the locations is pretty consistently laid out, with similar product and prices. This particular location was no exception. The selection in and of itself is actually pretty decent. You won’t find absolutely everything, but it does carry a wide variety of wines, spirits and beers… both local, craft and the other bigger brands you might still be foolishly imbibing. Oh, and if you need a liquor license? Easy peazy! Just ask at the counter. It’s $ 10 for a private non-resale one. All you’ll need is the name of the building and the address, the company hosting the party, expected number of guests and then attach your liquor receipts and hang that baby up by the bar! That’s not an exclusive service of this liquor store though, you should be able to get them anywhere… bonus though is that you can bring back any of your unused liquor the next day!
