Tiffany Nails & Spa

This place is horrible. I went in to get a shellac manicure and a regular pedicure. When they took off the shellac that I had previously, they filed most of it off. But they filed so hard that it was painful. Then they asked me to show my fingers in acetone whole they gave me a pedicure… Instead of lightly filing away at the shellac and then wrapping my fingers in tinfoil. They broke one of my nails and painted over it and did not tell me. I’ve had my nails done for less than a week and the shellac is already peeling cracking and chipping. I used to have super healthy nails… But one visit to tiffany and my nails are so brittle and soft.
They charged me $ 5.00 to take the shellac off. They charged me $ 25.00 for the manicure plus an additional $ 20.00 for the shellac. They also charged me $ 30.00 for the pedicure. And I left a tip. I payed $ 90.00 for a shitty shellac manicure and regular pedicure. DO NOT GO HERE. I used to pay at most $ 50.00 in vancouver for a great quality manicure and pedicure. They employees here don’t know what their doing and they don’t care about anything. I repeat. STAY ASAP FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!

My wife received a gift certificate for her birthday and convinced me to go along. We arrived, they asked curtly if we had an appointment and then pointed where to go. While in the chair, 6 guys were busy working right next to me putting in a new fancy massage chair. It was embarrassing enough being there, let alone having the boys arguing beside me how the chair should be installed while I had my toes attended to.
There were no apologies, no «sorry for the interruption,» and it didn’t matter how many times I turned to my wife and said «you’ve got to be kidding,» they didn’t care.
I finally said I’m done, told the owner (wasn’t hard to find him, he was bent down installing the chair right beside me) that this was ridiculous and he looked at me with a blank stare as if to say «who are you?»
I said «you don’t even know I’m here, do you… I’m a paying customer!» He started to argue and then thought the best of it.
He said nothing, no apology, and it appeared he couldn’t believe I had the guts to talk to him this way. It was at that point I dried my legs off and walked out.
I was hoping that they would apologize to my wife who was still in there. Not a chance, she too walked out.
I’m sure the ladies do a fine job, but I think the owner doesn’t have that customer service «focus» that similar businesses have.

Ok here’s the lowdown… If your looking for any tpe of gel nails run far far away from this place. They use acrylic and tell you they are gel. They lift, cracks, and turn yellow.
If your looking for a pedicure this is your best bang for your buck. They massage you, have great chairs, and spend the time on doing a good job. The Polish lasts forever.
Oh and if you like a really clean nail salon this is so not for you!

Do not go here!!! I was a customer for over 4 years here, today I went in to get my nails done and they charged me double. I told them I have never paid this price for nails here, they argued and added costs such as color change, removal ect. I went in for a fill! Because I hadn’t been there in a few months they didn’t recognize me so over charged me as if I was new to the place. So Angry a fill cost me 74.00 bucks! Outrageous never going back!!!
