This nail salon has been renamed «Vista Nail Salon». I went there today for a threading appointment that I had booked earlier in the day. I rushed over, thinking I got lucky. I went there and I tried to check in and they told me they don’t do threading there. I told them, they must have been a misunderstanding on the phone. Then I asked is it just today they don’t do threading (which I just had it done there a few months ago) and the lady, just came up and guided me out the store, which I didn’t understand, cause I wasn’t even upset, just confused. They just kept saying «ok thank you.» And they kind of escorted me out the store. I left going «umm. What just happened.» What poor customer service. Wow.

I agree with Suzanne H. I have been a customer for over a year and they upped the cost of my acrylic fill by $ 15. Their price sheet said $ 20 & up, so I assumed it would be the same $ 20 I have always paid. The worst part was she filed my nails with solar and I asked «is this acrylic»? She told me it was, when it was completed she said «this is solar, it’s better». She told me they would charge me for acrylic. When I went to pay they raised the price and said «& up» on the price sheet means they charge case by case. I was fuming mad. I was spoken to very condescendingly. It wasn’t so much the prices that bothered me, as I understand a different owner has a different business model, however I was tricked, and didn’t even receive the nails I thought I was getting! I’m very very disappointed and will never be back.

One word: DIRTY
Stations were unclean, the walls were dirty, used tools and things thrown into the same bucket helter skelter, no proof that things were being sanitized, and things like files and toe seperators are being reused. Disgusting. I left there worried I might get a fungus or worse as the nail tech cut my cuticle while ‘nipping’ them. So far no sign of infection has showed up but I would not go back here.
Service was decent; really friendly, fast and efficient, got an appointment with 15 min notice. 2 nail techs worked on me at the same time (mani and pedi) so I was in and out of there in just over an hour which I really appreciate. My nails turned out good, not great. The one tech doing shellac on my toes had trouble with the application and had to repeatedly scrape the excess off around the edge of the nail with her own finger nail — gag. The tech also sprayed the foot bath down with stinky cleaner while I was still sitting there getting my manicure done (to save time between customers no doubt) which was unpleasant and not exactly courteous. At least I know the foot bath was cleaned.
Prices are great, super cheap for mani pedi combo with shellac. Around $ 50. But its clear costs are being cut here so in this case you are taking a gamble to save some $$.
If they are willing to overhaul their cleanliness standard, this would be a gem to have in the neighbourhood as my regular nail place (Fantabulous) has changed ownership in the last few months and quality went down and prices nearly doubled.

This is my go-​to place to get my nails done! I’ve tried other salons in the past and they are not as good as Urban Nail Design & Spa. This prices are reasonable (e.g., $ 50 for a new gel set, 30 $ for a pedicure). They attend to detail and I am never disappointed! Love this place :)

I’ve been getting my nails done here for over 7 years and even though I no longer reside in the area, it is still my go-​to place for gel nails and pedicures. Although everyone is great, Wandy is by far the best gel nail artist I’ve seen as she has amazing attention to detail combined with great speed! The staff are quite flexible to accomodate you last minute or fit you in somehow even when they are very busy, yet your nails always look great. Highly recommended!

Finally a great nail place near home. I am super picky with where I get my nails done. I’ve had acrylics and now gel nails. They do a great job every time and are gentle when having to remove old gel nail because of any lifting. After going to several salons. This is it! They are busy so must warn you… They are a hidden gem.

Great little salon with a crew of girls working hard to do lovely work.
Nice work on gel nails and pedicures are great. Reasonably priced, efficient work flow and great at fitting you in.
