Come here for overpriced junk, old phones that don’t work, and piles of crap. Definitely a rip off, there are better deals on kijiji.

Love that us northeners now have a valoo vilajjj value village.. Good lay out check out girls. .some good and friendly some not so friendly. I find that the better quality clothes are in the se store off Macleod trail and midlake Blvd.. But like all three not the né so much .they are getting expensive though considering it comes from donations and Walmart had things for new cheap.

Ah, Va-loo Ve-laje, the mega mall of second hand goods. Sometimes doomed only by it’s own partially ironic awesomeness, they can sometimes be picked clean by hipsterites looking to pop some tags. The Silver Springs location, however hasn’t seemed to hit their radar yet. This place is both jam packed with great finds at great prices, and is well sorted and clean. It’s actually pretty impressive considering the amount of people the rooting through endless racks of clothing. This Value Village not only has a near Wal-Mart level of inventory, they well equipped to handle the amount of customers they get. Hurry while their are still some over sized fur coats left!

This is a great location for a value village as I find it’s not terribly picked over as much as some other locations. It’s super big and laid out in a way that makes finding things easy. Still has that«thrift store smell» but it’s a great place to find some hidden jems.

This location used to be a training centre for the Calgary Police Services. There’s a café nearby, a great gym, and an outdoor pool. Otherwise it’s in a strange out-of-the-way location. Inside, it’s huge and well-lit, and packed with used clothes, books, housewares and bargain hunters. On a Monday around 4:30pm there were 9 cashiers working, but the lineups seemed to be at the change rooms. The background music was quiet, so mostly I just heard the sound of hangers sliding around. There’s lots of clothes. Each Value Village champions a different charity, and this location donates some money to the Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta.
