Love this thrift store. I’ve known about it since my family first moved to Canada way back when, but only recently stepped foot into it since I’m moving out on my own. They don’t have a lot of items, but the items that they do have are greatly priced and look good. I’ve gotten plenty of things for my kitchen from here for just a few dollars. Its certainly helping me be more comfortable with the fact that I’ll be living on my own and don’t have any furniture or anything. While value village has more things, the prices at Bibles for Mission Thrift Store are much better priced — not to mention they also look much better. The lady at the front counter was also super nice.

Actually went here when I first moved to Calgary and needed basics for my kitchen urgently. Of course everything is mismatched and now that I have all of my own kitchen stuff with me I still always turn to the things I bought here. Not only that but the dish set I picked up here for $ 18 I found online for $ 1,400 although I’m sure that’s a one off. I have been back several times just to look around and it all goes to a good cause :)) Keep up the great work ladies!
