We got what we expected. It’s your everyday pub. Decent food, nice staff. Nothing outstanding, but nothing terrible.

Okay Calgarians…
Why is a damn yankee like me the first one to review Woody’s???
Is it all because you’re all still there drinking and playing games?
Must be.
I got to say, even if you don’t drink this is the place to be.
Everyone from lumberjacks and throwbacks from the days of hair metal come to hang at Woody’s.
It’s like they’e throwing a party there and everyone’s invited.
I think it was during the musical trivial pursuit challenge where the host started playing Freebird and EVERYONE stood up, lit their lighters and waved their arms above their heads singing along in homage that I knew it would all be okay.
If you’re ever loney, do yourself a favor and head to Woody’s where the folks are fun, friendly and welcoming.
