This is probably the best dollar store I’ve been to, quite big and well organized. They offer lots of different things, from party decoration over cleaning and kitchen stuff to gardening equipment. You will find almost everything there, including a big wall full with cards. Staff is very friendly and helpful as well. It’s located in a strip mall, lots of parking available. What impressed me was that many things there didn’t look as cheap as they usually do at dollar stores. They also had plenty of Canada related things; flags etc. with Canada day coming up a good place to stock up.

By far my most favourite dollar store in Calgary.
It is HUGE. And you know what I love most about it? That is carries EVERYTHING.
The other day, I needed to pick up a plant tray. I had been to Walmart and Home Depot, and continued to search to no avail. And finally, on a whim, i tried this store. And believe it or not, they had it!!!
This dollar store carries everything from the best flavours of candy and chocolate bars, to artificial flowers, plant trays, decorations, stickers, hangers, cosmetics, and picnic cutlery.
It’s an extensive store with an extensive selection, and yes, everything is priced modestly.
How can you go wrong???

This is a big dollar store, with a bunch of vicious looking women circling the large store room with baskets in hand, emptying the racks of cheap merchandise and paying around $ 1 or two for every item.
But as far as dollar stores go, this one has a big selection. I don’t know how dollar stores get their merchandise, but I’ll be looking into it. I found Colgate toothpaste (the good kind) for $ 1 here. There’s your regular assortment of cheap crap that will break in two days, but if you’re a dollar store enthusiast, you should give this place a try.
A hundred angry middle-aged women looking for deals with baskets in their arms can’t be wrong…
