The food was fantastic! Best Japanese food I have had in too long. The sushi was big and fresh. Good value. Clean facilities. Very friendly staff. The only downfall was that I had to ask for a refill on my beverage. Other than that it was very good. And free wifi as well.

Amazing sushi. The food itself was arguably the best sushi in the KW area, and the service was exactly what I like about sushi restaurants: fast, friendly service with minimal interaction between myself and the service staff. Prices are very reasonable too. For just over $ 20 I got a large «box» of different kinds of sushi, plus I tried 2 rolls of eel on top of that, and all came with miso soup and a salad. Atmosphere was quiet. Music was kept low. One could easily hear the other speak without stressing their voice. Everything was A1. I’ll be back in the future, that’s for sure.

Basically, Nagano is across the street from our hotel, and a great choice for dinner in the area. We’ve eaten there twice on two separate trips recently. An extensive menu — mostly Japanese with some Korean for variety — it’s going to take us many visits to try everything. Fortunately, we want to go back. Both times we arrived without reservation but were greeted warmly. The service was fast and friendly. The food surpassed my expectations. Their tempura batter was wonderful, coating tasty shrimp and veggies. Sushi and maki were very good, the rice fresh, and with more filling than rice. Lots of food in their bento boxes: I have never left there hungry.

Great sushi place in Cambridge! First ordered to take out and it was great, freshly made sushi all accomodated in the container, asked for a miso soup and it was on the house! Had the shrimp and teriyaki chicken rolls
Few days later went to have dinner and had the hurricane roll that came in with salad a miso and my friend the sunshine roll and both were awesome, good size and just the right amount of rolls. We ordered the tempura ice cream for desert and as good as the other food.
The service could be better though, but will return for sure.

Great sushi place. 10% off takeout (cash only for discount), impressed by their speed. Great selection of bento boxes, including lunch bento boxes which are pretty competitively priced.
Would love to come back anytime I’m in Cambridge. :)

Nagano is probably the best Japanese restaurant in the K-​W area and definitely the best sushi in Cambridge. They put a lot of work into their sushi, adding seasoning you don’t see everywhere and small flourishes that really make the meal special. Their fried food, like tempura and gyoza are fantastic too and they have a novel selection of appetizers.
Service is good but sometimes you need to use the buzzer at the table to get their attention for refills.
Their take service is nice as well. You’ll often find a complimentary item with your order ranging from a free salad to a free app.

Best Japanese restaurant in KW area. Authentic Japanese food with fast and pleasant service. We eat there once a week and never been disappointed. Our one year old son loves the Gyozas.

Stopped for some takeout at Nagano on a road trip and we were very disappointed. I ordered bi bim bap and it did not resemble any big bim bap I’ve ever had in Toronto. Everything, including the meat and rice, was cold and the dish was really just a collection of jarred veggies that were microwaved to be lukewarm. I took three bites and couldn’t eat any more. Ended up going to Harveys for a burger.
That being said, the miso soup was decent and my girlfriend said her spicy salmon and yam/​avocado rolls were okay.. Though they were a bit rice-​heavy and mushy. Overall, I would recommend skipping Nagano.

Had fantastic lunch bento here. Started off with a nice miso. Menu at this place is enormous! A very good selection of Korean and Japanese! booths in this place sure ensure your privacy! partial I like it as you have lots of privacy. It does feel a bit weird though as you feel like you are in a office with all the cubicles! Anyway the food was damm good and if in the area I will be back!
