Great music, even better food in a good location. Try their duck wings, and best beef brisket in Canada!

The smoked cod chowder is delicious, as are all the duck dishes(haven’t had a chance to explore the rest of the menu). The staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Great experience all round!

Reeeally good burger! The Moby burger! It was delicious. Not too messy but I still felt I had to go wash my face afterward. I had mine with Yummions(like onion rings but not in a ring). They were also delicious. Oh, and like most of Salt Spring Island, the view was awesome.

Great food(tuna bites are deadly), great beer, great service and a cool location. What more do you need? If you’re staying at Hastings House you can literally roll home from your room. Play the jays and the Flames(if your nice)

Great view, good music and fun times but the service is not always up to snuff. Walked over from the marina to take in some live music and a beer. The bartendress was not having a good day. She was pissy at best but our drinks kept coming out. While we did not eat, the experience was good and definitely good enough to come back and try out the menu.

My wife and I have come here multiple times and it’s a must visit any time you’re on the island. They are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions as best they can and the servers are always very patient and kind. Josie was out server on a particularly busy night and she worked her butt off to keep everyone feeling happy and taken care of. If you’re going anywhere for lunch on Salt Spring, definitely make it Moby’s.

People kept telling us to go to Hastings House, up the hill from Moby’s. And we did. The next night we went to Moby’s, and I have to say for less than half the price, the food and atmosphere were twice as good. It’s a pub, with a solid bar and a menu that’s creative, flavorful, playful and yummy. The wait staff are funny, friendly and good at their jobs. Unless you want white tablecloths, don’t bother going up the hill. Enjoy an evening on the water at Moby’s.

Most delicious food and charming place! We had the Korean BBQ wings to start and the Warm Duck Confit Kale Salad and Halibut/Chips wit) the Smoked Cod Chowder Soup for mains. Delicious flavours! Tried a glass of The Salt Spring Winery Red — very pleasant. Best part of the evening was«Song Jam»… Group style Karaōke. This place was the ideal«local flavour» haunt!

Went for a light dinner. I had the duck wings, because I’d never seen that on a pub menus. They were awesome, with a soya and chili sauce. My wife had the blackened chicken salad with a honey balsamic dressing and apples, feta, cruising and greens. The craft beet selection was great and the service was very efficient and friendly. Next time we’re on the island we will definitely stop in again

Had a nice lunch here the other day. Some nice variety instead of the standard pub fare. Had a Korean Beef Noodle salad and it really hit the spot.
