Who knew there would be a Vietnamese restaurant in Carleton Place? That show’s how this town is growing. Whats next, sushi? I have eaten at Saigon’s Delight for lunch, dinner and had take out and have always been happily surprised with the quality and flavour and freshness. Try the fried tofu, especially good when its straight out of the fryer, summer rolls or crispy squid as appetizers. Have the beef brisket and meatballs Phở, the standard soup dish of Vietnam, but way much more than a soup. The BBQ Pork and shrimp Mi is good too. They also do a good pad Thai. This restaurant is a lovely little addition to the main street of the town and I hope that it continues to thrive. Price is a little bit more than the Chinese restaurants in town but way worth it and the flavour of the ingredients is not lost in soy.

My boyfriend and I go here every single weekend. It’s incredibly easy to leave there as 2 people being completely stuffed for under $ 30. Service is wonderful, and their HuTieu is my go-to food when I’m sick or sad. I haven’t tried a single thing there that wasn’t wonderful.
