Fabulous finds can be few and far between, but they are there, and this neater-​stocked thrift makes it easy to find them when they’re there. Notable for: often, a good selection of bedlinens (once, an easily laundered double featherbed, $ 15), and all kitchen appliances, which are not infrequently good ones, are $ 5. Friendly staff. Public toilet — clean! And this is one of few thrifts that’s nice enough to sell donated shampoo and lotion and stuff for a token amount — if you are really trying to help the poor you should not be throwing out the used-​once shampoos, kwim? A small shop, but worth a visit.
